MIDDLETON-BASED RESOURCE CONNECTION, INC. NAMED AMONG TOP 100 WOMAN-LED BUSINESSES IN STATE
For the second consecutive year, The Resource Connection, Inc. (TRC), of Middleton and Boston, MA was named to the Top 100 Woman-Led Businesses in Massachusetts. The Center for Women’s Leadership at Babson College, in collaboration with The Commonwealth Institute, conducted the research project, which found that woman-run businesses are key drivers of Massachusetts’s revenue and employment as well as strong sources of philanthropic activity. The companies in the survey generated $10.2 billion in revenue, and together, all the companies that participated in the study employed more than 24,400 people in Massachusetts.
The Top Woman-Led Businesses in Massachusetts: 2006 Results found that 60 percent of woman-led businesses in Massachusetts grew by more than 5.0 percent in 2006, as compared to a statewide growth rate of 3.3 percent.
