In 2014, the State began registering dental assistants in Massachusetts for the first time in the states history.  Michael joined

our staff as a temporary employee to help us process the thousands of licensure applications we’ve received to date and to

handle the scores of telephone calls from members of the dental community calling to ask about the new dental assistant

regulations.  I also asked Michael to sit at our reception desk to handle any applicant who chose to stop by our offices in

person with questions or concerns.  Needless to say, this has been a stressful period for everyone involved.  Throughout this process,

Michael has been calm, efficient, courteous and professional in his dealings with my staff, the other temporary employees and

most importantly, with the public and members of the dental community.
